A Business Activity Statement (BAS) is the single form that you fill in and return to the ATO to report your obligations and entitlements on:
- Goods & Services Tax - GST
- Pay As You Go (PAYG) amounts withheld from payments

- Fringe benefits tax instalments
- Wine equalisation tax
- Luxury car tax
Depending on the size and scale of your business activities you need to lodge your Business Activity Statement (BAS) on a quarterly of monthly basis – most small businesses under $20.0m annual turnover choose to submit their BAS quarterly (by the 21st day after the end of the period) although you can choose to lodge on a monthly basis if this is more convenient.
